WEATHER

South Africa is a year-round destination.
Dry Winter (May – September).
Wet Summer (October – March).

Ideal 4×4 Touring Window: April to September
This period is widely considered the best for off-road travel and safaris.



DRIVING

Keep Left. Driving is on the left-hand side of the road. Use a dedicated GPS with offline maps like Tracks4Africa. In national parks, stay inside your vehicle at all times and adhere to the 40 km/h speed limit.



WILDLIFE
